Connect to Hugging Face Inference

Harness Studio runs the tau coding-agent harness against router.huggingface.co. Paste a token with inference access to begin.

What happens to my token, and what can the agent do?

The token is held in server memory for this session only. It is never written to disk, never placed in the process environment, and never returned by any endpoint.
The agent gets its own scratch workspace. Its file tools are confined to that directory.
The bash tool and Terminal run real commands as your container user. Only run your own private copy, and grant access to people you trust with its files and shell.

Run A to save your starting harness. Edit and Apply changes, then run B to save your comparison harness.

Repeats use both saved harnesses. Each run starts with fresh task files and an empty chat, and uses inference credits.

Results and comparison

Edit the harness on the left, press Apply, then send a prompt.

Interactive bash in your private Space. Shell jobs stop when an agent run or workspace edit starts. Reconnects retain the shell; Restart shell starts fresh.

Open the Terminal tab to start a shell.
